Each year, the ANOC General Assembly gathers approximately 1000 participants, including ANOC’s members - the world’s 206 National Olympic Committees, the ANOC Executive Council, the ANOC Commissions, the International Olympic Committee members, their management and staff, International Federations, Olympic Games & Youth Olympic Games Organizing Committees, and other stakeholders of the Olympic Movement.

Provides an opportunity for all the world’s NOCs to meet in-person each year to discuss their common interests, challenges, and relevant topics within the Olympic Movement.
Offers opportunities to share of ideas, best practices, and develop partnerships.
Enables discussions on any issues faced by the NOCs, looking for common ground for positioning the NOCs as a common force in the Olympic Movement.
Provides a platform for the key Olympic stakeholders to interact and discuss the future of the Olympic Movement.
Approves major decisions for the future of ANOC.
Holds the organizations elections every fourth year.
